I’m on Pinterest now.
Well, I’ve been on Pinterest for awhile. But I never really got it…until something awakened inside of me recently. And suddenly, out of the blue, I’m Pinteresting like crazy, pinning things like tops and shoes and organized pantries and smart ideas that catch my eye.
One thing about Pinterest: You see the cutest clothes. Most of them are clothes I can’t wear, of course, for any one of the following reasons:
I don’t show my arms
I don’t show my legs
I only wear tops that cover my bottom
I don’t wear anything with a cinched waist
I don’t wear white
I don’t wear dresses, unless they’re over jeans
I don’t wear skirts
I don’t wear shorts
I don’t wear pumps
I don’t wear belts
But other than that, I see lots of clothes I can wear on Pinterest!
Charlie is happy about my new Pinterest interest, too. His old, standby look just isn’t lighting his fire anymore.
“I’ve got to shed this tired, old skin. It just isn’t feeding my soul any longer.”
On Pinterest, Charlie has learned that a simple summer tank with a bright, happy stripe can really give you a fresh look. Cute Hollywood sunglasses add a little touch of glamor.
A fun, upbeat headband with a floral embellishment adds a little hint of whimsy.
(Psst—Charlie! Stick your tongue in your mouth!)
In no way should Charlie’s yawning convey a lack of interest in…Pinterest.
Or fashion.
Or life.
He’s just a Basset Hound, man.
Here, the same striped tank is made a little more dramatic with a contrasting head wrap and tortoise shell frames.
And the headband wrapped around the wrist several times makes a really cute, playful bracelet.
These are just a couple of the new looks Charlie has learned from spending time on Pinterest this week.
As you can see, he’s just about to burst with excitement.
