Thank you all for your support yesterday. I feel much more buoyed and equipped to face the challenge before me tonight. I was in a deep struggle in my life, and you helped pull me out of it.
(In case you didn’t get a chance to read yesterday’s post, the challenge before me is attending a One Direction concert with my daughter and her two friends. It triggered an existential crisis involving what to wear and whether to stand, sit, or dance.)
Anyway, thank you. You gave me great advice and reminded me that I needed to leave a little early so I could stop and get a pair of earplugs!
Or twelve.
Marlboro Man was up all night getting in a load of cattle, then he had to leave at 4:00 am to work cattle with his cousin an hour away. I should have slept in since I’ll be partying with One Direction late into the night tonight…but I’m so glad I didn’t because I would have missed the sunrise. It was crisp and clean and glorious, and was the perfect calm before the earplugs.
Hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday! I’ll report back on our adventures from the concert, and will snap as many pictures as my iPhone battery will allow.
In other news, I learned yesterday that the flashlights on iPhones are now being used at concerts instead of lighters.
It’s a world gone mad, I tell you.
